When I am not working, my family and I are usually somewhere
doing the outdoor activities; camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and pretty much
travelling. Where? We have been to many of the state parks and
national parks—some of our favorites include Peninsula, Mirror, and Devils
Lake. Nationally, we love the West;
especially the Southwest.
I am really excited to start another year at Sandburg and
meet a new group of Kinders. If you have any questions, please let me

Hi Everyone! Mrs. Louison here from the Red Alligator classroom :) This is my third year teaching kindergarten at Sandburg and before that I spent some time teaching kindergarten at Schenk and Shorewood Elementary. I, too, am originally from the Appleton area and came to Madison to attend college at UW, where I fell in love with the public schools and decided to stay. My husband and I currently live in McFarland with our dog Dexter. We spend a lot of our free time with friends and family and walking our high energy dog! I also love reading and relaxing when I get the chance. I am looking forward to another great year of kindergarten and to me, the best part is when the kids finally start developing a love of reading all their own!
